Curry Up Now was founded in 2009 by husband and wife duo Akash & Rana Kapoor, and ably supported by Senior VP of Operations, Amir Hosseini. The brand began as a single food truck rolling around Burlingame, Calif. and quickly became known for taking traditional Indian ingredients and presenting them in friendly, recognizable formats. Innovative offerings like Tikka Masala Burritos, Naughty Naan, and Sexy Fries have been on the menu since the beginning, and have remained menu mainstays and fan favorites ever since. Today, Curry Up Now operates three food trucks and ten brick-and-mortar locations nationwide in California, Utah, New Jersey, and Georgia.
As a restaurant, it is always our mission to serve - usually, we serve guests in our dining rooms, corporate clients in their offices, families we deliver to at home, and so on. In light of the COVID-19 crisis, we are being called to serve those who have been most affected by this global pandemic. This is a tough and trying time for many people, and we want to be able to lift them up during these hard times in the best way we know how: through food.
